Robert, why do the Stars persist in dump and chase entries rather than carrying the puck? I thought Gulutzan would encourage more puck possession entries rather than the old dump and chase.
Offhand, my sense has been that they're focused more on solid transition play from the D zone, but with less stretch passes to far neutral zone. That means other team might have more guys back, so they can force a dump-in, but the Stars are pretty focused on getting their cycling and down-low game going in the O zone. I think we'll have to wait for a few games to see how that goes, but there's no reason to be too pessimistic just yet, I think.
