Stars were flat tonight. I guess they were overdue for a bad game. I don't know the they can keep winning at the same rate with their current lineup.

"It's hockey or whatever" -14 post-game hahahaha

You still asked the question as you should- You can't win them all. Keep up the good work, Tiffin. I really enjoyed hearing your telling of experiencing the Stars hall of fame shindig on Spits and Suds.

Heh, I didn't phrase it great, but it's all good. It is true, after all! It is hockey, or whatever.

Listening to the audio on Roy yelling once I got home from the game. He is yelling in French at someone on the stars bench. You can clearly hear him say "you were a fn goon, what do you know" sit down and shut the f up" I would assume he isn't yelling at Mavrik so it has to be Nasserdine.

Roy and Rittich are both theater kids. Always with the drama, both of them. Eddie's better.

Robert hates to hear this, but …..

Stars win if Otter has his paddle flat on second goal (basic for preventing puck from back of net to front) AND if he plays angle properly for the ‘shortie’ on third goal.

Yes- many will counter with ‘the saves he made’. But, to be a truly elite goalie, you need to be much more consistent. Otter 17th GA, 24th Save % (yes it is early).

I think that's about right. Oettinger will not be thrilled with either of those goals, and he shouldn't be.

Stars looked good tonight, and much better defensively than I expected. Capobianco is really coming on and Petro + Bichsel looked like a solid 2nd pair. Sometimes bounces don't go your way, and that's what I took from this game. Rinse, refresh, and go win some important games on this road trip. Go Stars!

First real game where Back - Ritzy - Bourque were upside down. The line has shown promise as a balanced 3rd line (something this team has been missing) - hopefully the don't get taken apart for one subpar game.

Also, Steel on the 4th line with Faksa and Blackwell. I'm pretty sure that was the early season plan, and that will be a solid, traditional 4th line.

I think that line works better when they're not matched up against the other team's top line. They've been found money in a way, but they aren't quite a full-on shutdown line, and their warts have shown when they've been asked to be one.
