The Newly Nasty Dallas Stars Defense
Just a quick note to mention my piece in D Magazine today.
Did you know that Miro Heiskanen led the defense in penalty minutes last year? Or that Jani Hakanpää led the team in hits by a huge margin despite missing a good chunk of the season? Well, read this, and then you will know that.
I’ll have more from camp this weekend. As DeBoer said yesterday, this may well be the deepest team Dallas has had in camp in years, and it’ll be fun to see how things shake out.
