I haven’t put this out on social media yet, but I wanted to give a small update for y’all here about the fact that I’m adding another byline this upcoming season. Starting this month, I’m the new NHL.com correspondent covering the Dallas Stars.

First: I’m going to be an independent correspondent, so nothing around here should change much at all. Stars Thoughts will keep doing its thing as we enter our third(!) season together, and you will still see my work popping up in magazines and podcasts¹ and other places. (Or even in-person, if you’re at Boomerjacks on August 11!)

The main reason I wanted to let y’all know here first is because this new role will probably mean some very minor changes next season, and I wanted to let y’all who are keeping this place going exactly what I anticipate those changes looking like.
