I’m not even going to ask my “should we be concerned about Roope Hintz” question today.😑

I thinke everyone should blame you, Ken :)

Can we call up the AHL roster to all play tomorrow so no more injuries 😂😂🍷🍷

They could LTIR Heiskanen for one game and raid Texas, sure. But I think they're just gonna approach it like the final preseason game (as will Buffalo, most likely) where you're tuning up for bigger things, but not quite going 100%.

This just sucks! Dallas is destined to be missing key pieces in the first round, like last year. Nothing about being without Heiskanen again is appealing. Dallas' "next man up" mentality will be severely tested again this year. Let the chips fall where they may

Wyatt centered as a rookie. So it won’t be completely unusual. Unfortunate, however.

True, but then again, none of the others listed are *Wyatt Johnston* (but then, who is?)

My take is I like Ricky and HyRy… HooRoo? They’ve both outplayed expectations and especially after Hyry stealing a puck from Nylander and burying it… I think they’ll both continue to improve before our eyes!

Given the chance. I’d give it to them.

Sure, we miss the exceptional speed and occasional performance that Hintz brings… but he’s been hurt how many years now during the playoffs… I prefer the every shift presence of Ricky, Hyry and Back, over Faska or a non 100% Hintz.

I'm curious to see what Faksa will be in the playoffs. He's got a lot of tools that are suited to Gulutzan's system, but Minnesota is a fierce opponent. Either way, he's going to be in the lineup. This is what Nill acquired him for.

Well, if he does well, I want full credit for doubting him :))).

I remember our win streak this season playing deep into the roster...for some reason I am more concerned about marginally healthy top line players and recent trade acquisitions playing in the first round than I am with a healthy roster of our typical healthy scratches and recent call ups. The latter have familiarity with each other...some have played well in the playoffs (Petro!)...and may provide some spark we knew we needed (Ritzy).

I agree for forwards, but for defense I'm always going to want Heiskanen in the lineup

Heiskanen a no brainer in the line up. I am talking Petro and Lybushkin over Myers and Lundkvist for the physical match ups. Capo and Lundkvist for the offensive shootout matchups.
