Because he’s been so productive and key for the Stars, it’s easy to forget that this is only Harley’s third full season in the league. It’s not nothing, but I think he’s still figuring it out to some extent. Such a talent though.
Watched the Colorado vs. Vegas game the other night. Vegas led 4-2 going into the 3rd. The Avs shifted into ludicrous mode and spent the entire third period in the Vegas zone getting Grade A chance after Grade A chance, especially when MacKinnon was on the ice. It’s a miracle that Vegas survived the onslaught to get to overtime, and then they barely hung on in overtime before finally losing to the Avs in the shootout. Colorado, man. I would love to see the Stars play like that for even a 10 minute stretch.
I tried saying this a few weeks back. To me, it doesn't seem like this team as a collective wants to win a Cup. The captain seems like he gave it his all in that 2020 Final and has no more left to give. The youngsters seem too lackadaisical. Mikko, Ritzy, and Blackwell seem to be the only ones that want it. For those that don't watch Colorado (or Florida), watch one of their games and compare the intensity those teams play with to that of the Stars; night and day.
It's an unpopular opinion, but until they win it all, they'll have to prove that what they're currently doing works.
Pretty certain this team isn’t the team that will play in game 83 and beyond. As you said, we will see. Is your position that anything short of winning it all is proof of your point? If so, the odds are with you all the way.
Yes, and that is because the team has said it themselves. Isn't that what they've been saying for 3 seasons now? "Cup or bust", "All in"?
They have the pieces to win it all: Top 10 goalie, Norris-caliber dman, and arguably 3 of the best forwards in the game. So why shouldn't they be able to win it all?
Unless they acquire another top 10 forward at the trade deadline, no player they add will be significant enough to take them over the top. They'll have to win with that core if they can

Alex Petrovic for the hardest shot??
That’s good perspective, for sure. Stars fans have really been spoiled for choice with the development over the last few years!
Not Petrovic!
Kolyachonok?
What an answer this would have been! But sadly, not correct.
The correct answer is Kyle Capobianco.
This was awesome
Given his fitness testing chops, I wanna guess Nils is the hardest shot.
Good logic, but not quite correct this time.

Someone is forgetting the Montreal game!
Fair enough. And the Oilers game, too. But still. 😂
The answer to the trivia question is Kyle Capobianco.
Correct!
"is just finding his right compete level to play"
