You gave us all a gift with that bit about draft day hats. Enjoy your Christmas break, RT (and my fellow Stars Thoughts readers)!

Merry Christmas! or Happy Holidays, if you prefer. Sam Steel is a prototype Bottom 6 guy who is playing as a Top 6 guy. He is always the weak link on any scoring line. This is not a knock against Sam Steel, because great teams need checkers and penalty killers, too and not everyone can do it all. I would love to see Jim Nill find an upgrade so that Gulutzan can reshuffle the lines. It doesn’t have to be another Rantanen, just a guy who can be enough of a scoring threat to complement guys like Rantanen, Robo, and Johnston.

I am pretty confident that they are looking to upgrade at the wing before the deadline.

/quote Among the 50 goalies to play at least 10 games this year, /quote <- I think you missed a page. Which is unfortunate because that's where Binnington is as the only starting goalie that far down the list. Let's all point and laugh.

Oh dear, poor Jordan Binnington. I am ever so sorry for hurting him with this omission.

The best Christmas song, regardless of location, is Mele Kalikimaka. It's fun to say. Fun to sing along with once you get the hang of it. And pretty much any version is enjoyable (I've yet to hear a rendition I didn't like). Try singing it at a party this holiday season!

It is very fun to sing. A little repetitive, but not bad for a short rendition.
