Nice story about Meyers and what a nice high character guy he is. But I would rather have a mean SOB , one who will mix it up. Petrovic fits that mold for me. Go Stars!!!
To me, tonight is all about the coaching staff. Did they send a message to a team that (mostly) looked like it was going 70%, do they make the adjustments on the PK, and do they get any more than one line combination working. Say whatever about Deboer, I thought he did do well with game-to-game adjustments. I thought he also got his players going at 100%, not 70%. I am curious with this staff what tonight looks like.
A little surprised Bunting didn't get back in the lineup (in place of Back), as they would still have Faksa, Steel, Blackwell, Hyry for PK forward duties. Seeing as Game 1 was probably the worst game the Stars have played all season, I'd expect to see much more playoff type focus and energy tonite.
