This is so timely for me Robert. I’m going the Texas Stars’ game in San Jose next week. Gotta see some of these players you talk about often in person. 👀
Thanks for this story, Robert. As a Cedar Park local and Texas Stars season ticket holder, it would be great for the AHL team to get more page time on the various Stars blogs. In particular, giving some more exposure to those that have put in some blood, sweat and tears, but may leave the Stars organization due to the difficulty of making the NHL roster, or debuting in a NHL game...those guys have given fans some great moments and there are probably some great stories to tell. I remember watching Robo, Bourque, Back, Otter, Lindell, Hintz, Petro, Capo, Ritzy, Bischel, Faksa, and even Benn come through Cedar Park...it just adds another layer to the page and to the Dallas fans not as familiar with the popular hockey scene north of Austin.
Love when you get to share these deeper looks at players.
Awesome stuff!
Thanks! He's an easy player to root for.
