A win. No injuries. Toronto gets a better draft pick. Win-win for everyone.

I'm still not completely sold on Mavrik Bourque, but I'm getting there. He's a much better hockey player now than he was at the beginning of the season. I'm also thinking that he is a trade candidate because I don't know if the money will be there to pay him once the Stars extend Jason Robertson.

I think he’s the sort of player they have got to find a way to keep. But the money is the big question, certainly.

Have to think the coaches are giving thought to Hyry playing wing in the playoffs regardless of anyone else’s injuries. He’s shown he can win faceoffs and be a threat shooting in 5 on 5 and short handed. He makes plays with the time he has on the ice.

I have to think he’s forced his way into those conversations, yeah. Lots of tough decisions.

Didn’t Stetcher pass the puck to McDavid or Draisaitl that game the oilers played in Toronto earlier this season?

Which doesn’t mean anything except Stetcher occasionally has like, some real bad nights and one almost feels bad for him

Good memory! Stecher actually had an own goal in that game, too. Shot it right into his own net on December 13.

Mrs. Robertson is probably my favorite hockey mom. She is always sooo happy at every game. I met her once outside the AAC and told her "Thanks for Robo!". She just smiled and said "You're welcome!"

That’s gotta be a good feeling as a parent!

It is probably my having never played hockey but Meyers is not impressing me at all. He seems to make more bad plays than good. Because he is so slow he using his reach to compensate but it doesnt always work out. Even though Petro and Capo had their problems as well I feel more comfortable with them in the lineup rather than Meyers.

He's been a mix of solid games and glaring mistakes. It's a coach's nightmare, because one bad moment can erase a ton of good. But you also don't want to let fear dictate what might still be the best decision. It's a tough choice!
