Ok now rest Harley, Rant (who doesn’t look full speed), Lindell, Johnston and Robo!

Bring up the AHLers for the last 2 games!

That would be great. But they’re going up to TOR, I bet some of those guys will want to play.

I’d think we’ll see whoever needs rest the most come out for Faksa/Bunting etc. They only have the minimum 12 forward right now, though.

Nothing else matters, like the song says. Not the records made during the regular season, not the goals scored, not the injuries. Only one thing matters, and that is winning a championship. That's what professional athletes that make millions are paid to do. Us fans spend our hard-earned money for that.

Sure we acknowledge the sacrifices they make, I'm sure living in luxurious homes, driving fancy cars, and making millions while playing a sport surely blunts the inconveniences they face.

So while a lot of people say "Dallas fans have it good", I say it doesn't matter if they fail to win a championship over the next 3-4 years. I mean, that's what they've been selling to us fans, right? Cup or bust?

It’s a very fascinating thing. Do 31 of the teams fail each year? Does it depend on expectations? There’s some subjectivity there, and I certainly don’t want to tell people they should be happy if a team loses. I do think it’s worth taking a second before the playoffs start, however, to recognize the good things so far. The good doesn’t have to be the enemy of the perfect, even if perfection is indeed the ultimate goal.

Having two, young, elite forwards makes this why Dallas can withstand the injuries. The bottom 6 has won a few games for the group, but the best part is that the bottom 6 rarely costs you a win. 50/50 from that group? Inject it into my veins.
