Nothing to add beyond what I said after yesterday’s loss. And I really don’t like their chances against any playoff team without Miro. The shot differentials are telling us something about what they are missing without their best defenseman.

Feel like the Stars wasted bid chunks of my weekend with mediocre hockey. When you know how good they can be, even without Miro and Tyler, watching the last two games is enough to shake your confidence in the Stars.

It really is frustrating for fans right now. The record is great, but the confidence is sinking each night. Gotta think the room isn't entirely immune to that feeling.

At this rate I don’t think it matters who the Stars first round playoff opponent is. If they don’t up their effort about 75% when the playoffs begin they will lose to whomever they play.

I really appreciate you starting the recap talking about the forwards not doing enough to help the defense. It's an aspect I had overlooked and needed someone to really notice it. Thank you Rob for your reporting and breakdowns. I know I can be a sarcastic man in these comments but I really do appreciate what you do for us fans.

There is a lot of grace on this site for everyone. I miss stuff, people have bad days, etc. We're all learning together. Glad to have you aboard, bud.

Is it me or did this string of questionable wins and frustrating losses start weekend the trade. Mikko has been here 15 games. A change in chemistry that they are fighting?

It goes back at least a week before the deadline, and some other trends go back to Heiskanen's injury. But either way, you have to be able to adapt to lineup changes in a long season. Additions, subtractions, whatever. Adding a superstar can't be the problem.
