The title of your post sums up perfectly my thoughts about this game. Plus, they really miss Miro. Too many high quality scoring chances for the Penguins, and goalie performance on xGA% is bound to revert to the mean sooner or later (maybe in the playoffs).
One thing that stuck out to me today was the same thing that has really bothered me during the past two playoff runs. And to me it led to the Penguin’s 2nd and 3rd goals. The Stars keep losing defensive puck battles and fail to clear the puck out of the defensive zone when they seemingly have an easy path to do so. This is an area where not being a very physical team really hurts them.
So much this. That Harley screw up just the most glaring example but it happens over and over. They turn ordinary, uncontested “just move the puck up the ice” situations into dangerous situations through sheer laziness and lack of attention to detail. I don’t get why it’s so hard.
Rob the worst thing that happened yesterday was I finally had to experience a regulation loss when I am in attendance. I demand recompence by the team! (I'm 3-1-1 now)
“Thou fuckest around, thou dost findeth out.” I think it’s Shakespeare.
Not sure what led to the double-shifting of Rantanen and the "4 guys for 3 spots" 4th line for the second half of the game.

That was just plain awful against a bad team and a terrible goaltender but hey UHC is leading the Peg 3-1
Yes, thank you to the Avs and the Jets for dropping their games today 😅
And as a Pens fan from days of yore, honestly WTF Pittsburgh? Why hurt your draft odds? This loss truly felt like a lose-lose for me personally.
I asked the city of Pittsburgh and they told me to tell you they did it on purpose to be hurtful.
As I feared: those two magical days we spent together in 2010 meant more to me than it did to them.

That is the worst thing, for sure
