It was, in fact, a trap game. I’m not going to rag on them too hard after leaving pretty much everything in their mental and emotional tank on the ice in Denver and Minneapolis. Gully and Dutch did cover pretty much all of my other comments about this game.
I’m still a bit shell-shocked from the way last regular season ended (7-8 losses in a row) so red flags are flying in my paranoia. However! They did beat Colorado and advance to the WCF again last year, so I’m going to stay positive and look forward to reinforcements like Miko and Roope and maybe Radek.
It is amazing what they have accomplished with all the injuries and this insane schedule! A real tribute to depth players making the most of opportunities.
