I did not like this hockey game, except that it was another example of Jake Oettinger being elite when it comes to making saves on prime scoring chances. He reminds a lot of the guy that we are going to see in the next game on Thursday. Stars need to be much better in all three zones. Our defensemen were a hot mess on exits tonight for large stretches of the game.
Here in Finland Ismo Lehkonen, the hockey expert of national media YLE (and, yes, father of that Lehkonen) says Mikko Rantanen seems very choked and shocked. He thinks that because of those overwhelming (and very human) feelings we shouldn't expect any top performances from him during the end of the regular season. He suggests this is the time for Rantanen to get comfortable and just relax. And then be ready when it's the real deal, aka playoffs time.
(Here's the original article if google or other translator can do it for anyone interested enough: https://yle.fi/a/74-20150004 )
I'm just wondering how he's gonna relax if he's not on top of his game?! 🤔 Well, I'm not a hockey player of course, so what do I know..? But in my head, when you want to be good - perfect, the best - at something, you are not relaxed if you're not succeeding. 🤷🏼♀️

Bonus English points for slipping "oughtn't" in there
Plaudits, one might say.
One positive comment to add: just how scary good is Thomas Harley becoming?
Forget "becoming." He's the real deal.
Oh no coarse language. My young childlike ears (I guess eyes?) will never recover
I was afraid of this. I will ask the coach to send you an apology.
Tell PDB I forgive him whenever he gives it
