I’ve lost count of the things I’ve learned to see again because of my kids. Awesome article!

Having lived in LA for a number of years I find Staples are good venue for hockey. The Pond is just different. Enjoyed seeing the Stars in both a number off times. I worked at 7th and Fig so the walk to Staples was a piece of cake! Great article

Yeah, it's a pretty solid experience. They do a great job in game presentation, too.

Great article, Robert! Brings back wonderful memories of taking my own kids to Stars games when they were little. Kudos to you and your bro for introducing a new generation of Tiffins to the great game of hockey! Well done!

Your uncle game is solid, but if you want to raise it to the next level grab napkins before going down to your seat. Pour the water on the napkin to be able to scrub away sticky from cotton candy and ice cream. :) Great article. I enjoy your writing styles!

You're attributing far more forethought than I'm known for, but I take it as a compliment!

That was fun! Kids are great. I took my kindergartener to see the Texas Stars play in Tucson in the fall, and his favorite parts were walking the concourse, eating treats, and meeting the mascot. As you said, the view of the game in an arena isn’t ideal for a small child (not to mention the attention span), so the game itself isn’t really the point, and sometimes that’s the best medicine for hardcore fans.

Agreed! It takes all types of entertainment to create new hockey fans.
