If they don't want to carry eight defensemen, then I'd waive Capobianco for now (I think he clears) and keep Kolyachonok up, then continue rotating between Lyubushkin or Petrovic on any given night.
I'd go back to Harley-Lundkvist and put Kolyachonok on a third pairing with whichever of 46/28 is in the lineup. He's looking confident, so why not get a good sense of what his ceiling might be while Bichsel out?
Long-term, I think they'll have to move Lyubushkin before next season begins for cap space. But I don't see a market for him right now.
Losing sucks. I had happily forgotten what the Stars losing a hockey game feels like. Let’s not do this again.
Well... Yuck.... Turn the page and move on.
I don’t care about losing the game as long as Hintz is ok.
Too many defenders...not a problem I imagined a few weeks ago.
Robert, would you mind giving us your personal thoughts on the kolyachonuk and capobianco decision? What would you do if you were gully?
