I remember Gulutzan saying that he wanted the Stars to form a playoff mentality. He might be succeeding. Nothing phases this team, it seems. They were obviously gassed and playing low energy hockey and still found a next level gear in the third period. I’m impressed. This is how the 1998-99 Stars were.

Felt like the Stars were fortunate the Sharks were going through some growing pains and were constantly missing the net or failing to connect on passes. It’s one of those games where you take the two points and move on.

I'm wondering how easy it will be for Lundquist to get back in the top 6 when he's healthy. 44 and 20 (I won't even try to spell either one πŸ˜€) are really playing well. Competition is a good thing. Also, when Nill makes his move to replace Seguin, there should be no hesitation to include either 22 or 12 in the deal. Both are wasting space πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

Based on the scoring list, I wondered if Robertson led in goals since Jan 1. Turns out he's second, three less than Morgan Geekie. And Wyatt Johnston has 40 goals in 74 games since Jan 1, tying him for seventh, which is absolutely nothing to sneeze at.
