This team is so fun to watch right now. Whatever flavor hockey game they happen to find themselves in on any given night, they find a way to win. Good times.

Robert, your Thanksgiving takes are not quite as good as your hockey ones. Yes, pecan pie is nonsense, BUT so is pumpkin pie. And the only two acceptable deployments of marshmallows are either in a smore or on sweet potatoes. 😬

Happy Thanksgiving to the entire Stars Thoughts community!

Apologies to you both, but pecan pie is delightful. It’s a shame you’re so wrong about this one thing.

This year has been a very pleasant surprise. After losing a good chunk of scoring to departures and injuries, having so many defenders hurt (I thought Lunkdvist was playing really well before his injury) and the coaching change, I never thought the team would look this good. Hopefully they can keep it up for the rest of the year and in the playoffs.

You know the one - if you play really well on the road the reward is - home ice advantage….

Thanks for the write up, Robert. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving 🦃

Glad to see the Stars really coordinating well in all phases despite injuries and missing key players. Hopefully as health returns the Stars don’t have a setback when the guys have a bit of a reset.

And I’ll take marshmallows and pecans on my sweet potato pie any day!

Thanks for your excellent work and remarkable writing. You are rapidly becoming a key part of my near daily obsession with the Stars — going back to my boyhood days in Minnesota.
