The call against Faska for holding -with what? Both hands were on his stick. Im seeing head shots and flying elbows continue to be ignored league wide (see Tom Wilson non-call clip). Not to mention the Robo goalie interference call where he was obviously pushing by the defender… I think I know the rules… I don’t know what constitutes obstruction anymore… does someone have to fall for it to be called? How about pick plays? Interference not a rule anymore? Does someone have to fall down for that to be a penalty anymore? Is anyone home in Toronto???
I personally like all the videos as often if I miss a game, I'll just read your article as a catch-all of everything for the game. That being said, if they're a huge pain to embed understand your choice to skip them
I second this, I absolutely subscribe due to your excellent writing and videos aren’t a make or break whatsoever, but I do like being able to have a one stop shop to catch up on games I may miss some, or all of the morning after. Also nice to have the exact play directly next to your words when you’re analyzing specific plays or describing goals. Either way I’m happy to be here and will continue to be, thanks for all the amazing coverage over the last year-ish!

Definitely a game or two or three for Rantanen after tonight, which is warranted after that hit. As for embellishment I have lots of thoughts & opinions on when & who the league decides embellishment is a thing worth calling but those are far too long & detailed for a comment section

I'm more concerned about that PK than it appears you are.. The coverage (lack of) in front of the net is systemically atrocious. Opposing players are consistently wide open and the Stars D seems to do that on purpose.... We'll see, I hope you are right as it is currently painful to watch.

How much of Rantanen's recent delinquencies is him trying to please his coach? I know Gulutzan is pushing a more physical game. Def not trying to infer Gully wants a goonsquad! But is Moose just struggling to find that balance? Is he evolving into this kinda player with his new team? Or is this just a freaky couple weeks for him?

I personally love the video clips. Love your writing, but it's helpful to see what you're describing firsthand. For those of us with bad memories.
