Thank you for the last section Rob. I think some fans needed to hear that stuff. It is just a nice reminder of how much this team has already overcome that can propel them forward. On to G3

Indeed! You always seem to perfectly express the reminder I need in order to keep a balanced outlook, meaning to not want to rend my raiment and sob. Thank you for calming us (me) down.

Thank you for caring about correct punctuation. The frequency of comma splices and malapropisms most everywhere else online is... troubling.

Gotta admit your take on that game is very different than mine.

Non-competitive. For the 2nd time is sox games the Stars simply didn’t show up and got skated out of the rink. That’s very disturbing to me. The Jets earned those “lucky” bounces the same way Mikko earned those lucky bounces in games 7 and games 1.

Outside of Mikko what has the vaunted forward core contributed since game 3 vs Colorado? Seriously, when Mikko hasn’t been on the ice has the rest of the forward line scored in the last six games?

Very disappointing to basically phone in yet another game.

It's hard to really calibrate for a game like this, I think. Winnipeg is so good that you really can lose a game to them early, and they did. But I think it's gonna be a tight series.

I think they could use another big winger to help clear space for our skill guys… I’d bring Smith up on the 4th line to cause some grief at the net front. Especially when Mikko joins 4th line.

Haven’t seen the faceoff numbers, eye test says Jets are controlling them?

I love the guy… his toughness and skill and leadership over the years is really impressive especially to have continued this long for a power forward… but Benn’s game reminds me of Pavs game last year playoffs… not good…

I'd argue it's less about size up front than about positioning. Winnipeg has been winning the puck after shots (retrievals) and getting the puck back along the boards. Dallas may need to tweak their approach to how Winnipeg operates in the offensive zone, or just execute a bit more quickly to reduce the time they spend defending.

Faceoffs have been strong for Dallas, actually. But because of how long they've spent in their zone, I could see how it would feel like they're losing the possession battle.
