Friday Dallas Stars Roundup: More Tough Health Updates, Nils Lundkvist and Thomas Harley's Progress, and John Klingberg's Evolution

The Dallas Stars got some much-needed good news this morning on the injury front. Because during morning skate before tonight’s game against San Jose, both Nils Lundkvist and Thomas Harley joined the team for the length of the practice.
You can watch Gulutzan’s presser here, but the most salient quote on Harley and Lundkvist’s health came right off the bat, when Gulutzan talked about Lundkvist and Harley’s recent skates with skills coach Stan Tugolukov up in Frisco.
“I was up in Frisco yesterday, a couple good skates for Nils,” Gulutzan said. "Stan skated Nils and Harls and Dutchy yesterday. They [Harley and Lundkvist] were obviously out there this morning, so they’re getting close. I would say, almost, those guys are truly day-to-day. I think maybe sometime next week you’ll see some of those guys get back in.”
Harley and Lundkvist skated on a fourth defense pairing in line rushes, and both of them looked very glad to be back on the ice. Lundkvist got a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’ when he first stepped onto the ice, while Harley arrived in the midst of a bigger crowd later on, with far less fanfare accompanying his return to the group—which I’m sure was his preference.
