It's going to be cold today, I hear
It’s a rainy day in Texas ahead of what I’m told might be the end of the world this weekend, but as always, I’m trusting Pete Delkus for all of my weather news.
Last I checked, getting to and from tonight’s game shouldn’t be any more hazardous than any other rainstorm, with the freezing setting in well after it ends. Still, it’s possible I might head home pretty quickly after media availabilities and finish writing there, so my apologies if you end up waiting an extra 30 minutes or so for that.
One unequivocally good piece of news today is that Mikko Rantanen skated with a small group of players on Friday morning. Dallas didn’t have an official morning skate since they played in Columbus last night, but Lian Bichsel, Kyle Capobianco, and Adam Erne all joined Mikko Rantanen for some work on the ice this morning with Assistant Coach David Pelletier.
