My suspicion is that they would like to expand into some of these bigger metro US markets like Dallas as soon as they can. The economics will be the bigger question.
Thanks for covering the game Robert! We took our 3yo daughter to watch. Besides the fact she is going to think lower bowl seating is normal (it isn’t for us) I think watching “two girls play hockey” (as she put it beforehand) will have an impact on her.
You've boxed yourself into a corner there, for sure. But I suspect she'll enjoy any game y'all go to in the future. I'm sure the impact will only increase with each one.
Oh man. Kelsie and I made it a point to attend this game. We had an absolute blast and are following the expansion updates closely. Expansion to 12 might give us a shot in Dallas (and 8,500 is a respectable attendance number). Hope we beat out some of the other cities. Otherwise, we will have to root for Seattle while we wait.
